My Top Alternative Wedding Venue around Northern Ireland’s Awesome North Coast!

I have created my list of must see wedding venues in the area. When I was searching for my own wedding venue, I knew I wanted something alternative and quirky.

Dunmore Gardens – Co. Donegal

Just across the boarder, literally 10 minutes from Derry/ Londonderry, it’s an absolute MUST view in my opinion. Quirky country house where you can have your ceremony on the front lawn. It has the most amazing walled garden which just keeps giving at each turn. Epic barn with part exposed walls with the super rustic charm and a marquee. A wedding venue to really put your own stamp on it. Dunmore Gardens.

Limepark – Armoy

Now this is a wedding venue filled with quirky styled decor, creaky old doors and beautiful gardens! Three fabulous ceremony options to choose from and you can really put your own stamp on. Stone walls, chamomile lawn, cobble floors the lot! There is a 17th century barn with unique handmade tables and chairs. Go view now! You most certainly won’t regret it! Limepark.

Beech Hill Country House – Derry/ Londonderry

Classic, super elegant with an edge, 400 year old stunning wedding venue with so many options on where to have your ceremony and reception. WOW 5 spaces to choose from to say your “I do’s” – forest, lake, walled garden, Georgian hall or the Library. Beech Hill Country House.

Harry’s Shack – Portstewart Strand Beach.

What an EPIC Wedding venue on the most iconic Causeway Coast beach, Portstewart Strand! If you are looking boho wedding theme, rustic decor, summer wedding vibes this is the one for you! Harry’s Shack.

Drenagh Country Estate – Limavady

This is one heck of an amazing wedding venue and must be viewed! 18th Century coach house and castle barn with all the quirks you can imagine. What a fabulous old building with the most amazing sea views over looking the East Stand beach. This venue is a real blank canvas to add your touch to or keep it elegant and simple. Arcadia.
