We get to hang out and have all the craic together. This session isn’t all about taking photos. It’s about us getting to know each other in the flesh. I want you guys to know me before I rock up on your wedding day. I do not want to arrive as a stranger. Yes we do have lots of communications before your wedding day but actually meeting face to face is so important. As your wedding photographer, I am the supplier who will be with you both all day. I want to arrive on your wedding day as a mate, not simply a supplier. When you guys are relaxed and having the banter with myself I promise you your photos will be 100% you and you’ll have no camera stress.
WHO IS VICTORIA?
Exactly! Who am I? You guys see who you’ve booked. I’m super easy going, relaxed, always up for a laugh and take it as it comes. I love to play things exactly how they come. I don’t make you guys do anything that isn’t you. You’ll be glad to hear nothing posey at all! It’s about exploring an epic location together with me as your spare wheel! I love to give you guys your space and time to take it all in while I’m capturing this moment for you both.
WE AREN’T PHOTOGENIC-
Trust me when I say, EVERYONE is fabulous in front of the camera. That’s why you hire a professional photographer. Don’t panic, you really don’t need to know what to do either. I’m there for all that. You leave it to me. All you need to do is simply be yourselves and I’ll guide if needed.
WHO ARE YOU!
Yes that’s right, it’s also priceless for me to see how you guys are in front of the camera. I will always capture you both as real as possible at your engagement photo shoot. So I get a real feel for who you guys are as a couple. Lovely dovey all over each other, stand two feet away or somewhere in the middle. Every couple is different, I totally respect this and I want to know the real you. This way I won’t ask you to do something that you wouldn’t dream of doing during your engagement shoot. For example if you’re not into kissing in public, then I would never ask you to kiss for a photo. No way! You know why? You’d look back at the photo and although it’s a stunning capture, if it isn’t the real you, you’re not gonna like it very much. I want you to look at your gallery and go WOW, look at us!
Who’s invited?
Your complimentary engagement photo shoot is for you both, the couple and myself. I totally understand you may have children or fur babies you’d like to bring along. I say no problem BUT, If bringing children I would recommend bringing someone with you to be able to take the kids after the first 15 minutes or so. This engagement shoot is for you both to fully relax and not have to worry about anything else for your hour session. I have a young daughter and puppy so I know exactly the stress it can put on you when they are roaming free and the worry it brings. I get asked a lot to bring your fur baby also, All I say is as long as your dog is chilled and non reactive and not likely to run off and annoy other dogs or wildlife. Simply chat to me about it. This is why I highly recommend its just us three for your engagement shoot.
